Get a first-hand look at the future of DataFlex. In this hands-on training, you will work with the new Technology Preview and experience what developing with the reimagined DataFlex Technology Stack really feels like. We will dive into the new Data Binding concepts and guide you through building your very first Android app in DataFlex. A practical session designed to inspire, experiment, and get you building right away.

Modern Security in DataFlex: OAuth, SSO, and JWT

Security doesn’t have to be complex. In this session, we will explore modern authentication and authorization using the new OAuth Server and SSO Client libraries for DataFlex. You will learn how OAuth works under the hood, implement secure login flows, and gain hands-on experience with JSON Web Tokens using the JWT library. With practical examples and debugging tips, you will leave with a clear roadmap for securing your DataFlex applications using industry standards.

Working with DataFlex Libraries: Secure, Reusable, Powerful

Tap into the growing ecosystem of DataFlex libraries and learn how to use them effectively in your projects. Using the Package Manager, we will work hands-on with libraries like SecureUpload and XSS Sanitizer, showing how to handle file uploads securely and protect applications from common web vulnerabilities. We’ll also walk through contributing to DataFlex libraries on GitHub, giving you insight into how the ecosystem evolves and improves.

Build Smarter APIs with the DataFlex Web API Framework

Learn how to design and build modern REST APIs using the DataFlex Web API Framework. We will start with the fundamentals, REST principles and CRUD APIs, complete with automatically generated OpenAPI documentation that can be explored and tested directly using Swagger UI. From there, we will move into advanced topics such as JWT-based authentication, custom endpoints, and making your API AI-ready using the MCP module. A must-attend session for anyone building connected, future-proof applications.

Discover how the DataFlex Package Manager streamlines the way you manage libraries and dependencies. This training covers everything from installing and updating packages via the Studio UI to advanced configuration options and working with the DF-CLI. You will learn practical strategies to keep projects stable while staying up to date. For library authors, we will also explore how to package, publish, and manage your own libraries. Compact, practical, and packed with tips.
